Theaflavin: Inhibit Proliferation of Coronavirus

Medical research from Chiayi Chang Gung memorial hospital found that Taiwan’s indigenous tea is effective to inhibit proliferation of coronavirus. The researcher found that native plants are effective to counter against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). It was found that Theaflavin can be helpful to inhibit the proliferation of coronavirus , especially the fermented tea such as black tea. It remains unsure about how how many doses will make it work.

Theaflavin controls viral proliferation and inhibit its activity, which may inhibit the proliferation of COVID-19. It would never be a bad thing to have some black tea in a moderate amount on a daily basis.
